Workshops
From OZCHI
Workshops are a chance for members of a community with common interests to meet in the context of a focused and interactive discussion. Each workshop aims to generate ideas that give the HCI community a new, organised way of thinking about the topic, or ideas that suggest promising directions for future research.
We are delighted to offer a number of interesting workshops to OZCHI 2008 (listed below). To participate in a workshop please first look at the workshop's webpage or summary (links in the table below). Workshops often request that participants submit a short position paper. Check for details and dates in the individual workshop summaries, or email the organiser. If workshop numbers are limited, preference will be given to those who have had position papers accepted.
Workshop participants will be required to register for the workshop (see workshop rates) to confirm their acceptance. If you are attending the main conference having had a position paper accepted by workshop, extended early-bird registration arrangements have been made - watch for further details.
Full day workshops are 9:30am-5:00pm. Morning workshops are 9:30am-12:45pm. Afternoon workshops are 1:45pm-5:00pm.
