The designated conference accommodation is centred around University of Melbourne.
We have made reservations at the Rydges on Swanston and Rydges North Melbourne as well as Plum Carlton Apartments and Arrow Apartments, all properties are within walking distance of the Conference venue. Accommodation bookings for the following rates can only be booked through SAPMEA Meetings Management. To secure your booking you are required to provide full pre payment which will be given to the hotel of your choice. Accommodation cannot be guaranteed after Friday 23rd October 2009. Any changes to your booking must be made through SAPMEA and NOT directly to the hotel.
Rates quoted are per night per room for up to 2 people using existing bedding. They include GST and do not include breakfast.

Early and Late Arrival
Check in is from 2pm. Whilst the hotels will do everything possible to accommodate early arrivals, if you wish to be guaranteed immediate access to your room, you will need to pay an extra day's tariff for the night before. Please indicate if you will be arriving at your hotel after 6:00pm. Failure to do so might mean your room could be released.
Cancellations
Rydges on Swanston
Cancellations received prior to Friday 23rd October 2009 will incur no cancellation fee. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to one nights deposit.
Rydges North Melbourne
Cancellations received prior to Friday 23rd October 2009 will incur no cancellation fee. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to one nights deposit.
Arrow on Swanston
Cancellations received more than 3 weeks prior to arrival may incur a cancellation fee of One nights accommodation. Cancellations received within 3 weeks of arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 100%.
Plum Carlton Apartments
Cancellations within one week of arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 100%.
