Abstract
Most organisations are now constantly undergoing transformation programs, but consensus is that roughly two-thirds of them still underperform. The financial and human cost of each failure is untenable. It doesn’t have to be this way. EY and the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School conducted research to help demystify transformation and understand the key factors that truly make a difference between failure and success. We found that treating change as a mere workstream and not addressing the human factors as a top priority is a key indicator of underperformance. Our predictive analytics identified six drivers of human behaviour that, when invested in appropriately, can increase the likelihood of transformation success by more than two-and-a-half times. This presentation will discuss the research insights for you to consider when you are planning your next transformation.
